The Circle of Oyá

Oyá or Iansã is the Orisha- Yoruban Goddess of wind, rivers, and transformation. She protects and guides women and children. Oyá is also known as “The Mother of Nine”.

The “Circle of Oyá” was created by me as a monthly healing circle for Black womyn & womyn of color who are seeking a wholistic approach to coping with the stress and struggle of every day racism(s) and discrimination. Self-love and gratitude inspired “Care of the Self” are at the core of this healing circle. The circle offers a safe space for Black & Womyn of Color to come together and create a supportive community.
